The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Mata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Luís Fernandez. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 11th minute, Américo Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Nogueira in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Albérico Santaréms short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Pedro Luís Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Vitória StrikerS™ booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Fabiano de Queiroz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vitória StrikerS™'s Júlio Lemos. Júlio Lemos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 23 played minutes Vitória StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Nogueira. Pedro Matas short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Pedro Luís Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Marzagão's zone, Albérico Santarém stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal and Albérico Santarém tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 3-1 became the score in the 33rd minute when Joaquim Nogueira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Marzagão from getting a goal against them. After 38 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano de Queiroz. When Vitória StrikerS™'s Pedro Mata in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marzagão's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitória StrikerS™'s Pedro Mata slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Luís Fernandez. That made the score 4-1 after 47 minutes of play. Marzagão made a substitution. Gilberto Saraiva replaced Fabiano de Queiroz. Marzagão's Remo Borges was substituted for Válbson Fernandes. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Mata was the one to do the kick off. Júlio Lemos made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Alfredo Esteves sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Luís Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Quintal to maneuver through the defense. Marzagão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 77th minute, Hélio Paião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Pedro Mata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Neil Mar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Júlio Lemos. Neil Mar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. Pedro Mata's late challenge caught a Marzagão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Mata helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Pedro Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitória StrikerS™'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
