West Town SC's Ledesma Caicedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Acalinei in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cain Blue got free with Octav Hortopan in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venceslao Beite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Octav Hortopan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Grigore Purje mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni and the West Town SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grigore Purje kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes, West Town SC's Guillermo Raiz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Octav Hortopan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in West Town SC reached it. Cain Blue in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Octav Hortopan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to West Town SC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelian Acalinei to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Aurelian Acalinei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ledesma Caicedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cain Blue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Octav Hortopan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgil Nedelcea kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ledesma Caicedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Acalinei in the 64th minute of play. Obi Blue took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octav Hortopan. Octav Hortopan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cain Blue in the 80th minute of play forced -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalkeeper Octav Hortopan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Virgil Nedelcea notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of West Town SC's Ledesma Caicedo. Ledesma Caicedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
