The tension between the AB Tårnby and the Telge77 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claes Arnsig kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes, Telge77's Filiph Salkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Al Birkestrøm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Telge77 reached it. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind AB Tårnby's goalkeeper Al Birkestrøm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Al Birkestrøm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Herman Sloots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alf Schlippe, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Viklund in the 22nd minute of play forced AB Tårnby's goalkeeper Al Birkestrøm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 22nd minute of the match Claes Arnsig completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Claes Arnsig a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Claes Arnsig kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Georg Viklund sped through AB Tårnby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Al Birkestrøm. In the 39thth minute of the game Georg Viklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AB Tårnby's Al Birkestrøm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Al Birkestrøm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Viklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georg Viklund in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Al Birkestrøm saved AB Tårnby from getting behind. Georg Viklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clas Gothardt during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes AB Tårnby got a freekick which was hit by Clas Gothardt. After the first half Telge77 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Schlippe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clas Gothardt in the 51st minute of play forced Telge77's goalkeeper Olle Söderkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, AB Tårnby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Schouenborg to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Georg Viklund could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Al Birkestrøm however easily saved by the left post. With his leg Al Birkestrøm managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Telge77's Georg Viklund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 70th minute Georg Viklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Birkestrøm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Georg Viklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Al Birkestrøm. AB Tårnby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Viklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 81 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Blomqvist notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of AB Tårnby's Al Birkestrøm. Al Birkestrøm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Svante Skager fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Telge77's protests and gave Svante Skager a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Telge77 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Skager to maneuver through the defense. Georg Viklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Al Birkestrøm made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Clas Gothardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clas Gothardt kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georg Viklund in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Al Birkestrøm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Telge77's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
