In the 9th minute, NANO FC's Baltasar Pancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Samuel Benavente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hermengildo Cloyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Oliveiro charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Oliveiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. NANO FC's Hermengildo Cloyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darien Gutiérrez in the 23rd minute of play. Enzo Baracaldo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Constantino Rojelio sent off a good shot on target. After 42 played minutes, C.A. Peñarol's Samuel Benavente shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hermengildo Cloyo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. Peñarol reached it. NANO FC's Baltasar Pancho broke free in the 43rd minute of the match and struck a powerful long shot that almost became a goal, but instead the ball went outside the right post. An obvious chance of a goal. Hermengildo Cloyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darien Gutiérrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantino Rojelio to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes NANO FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Lertxun. Enzo Baracaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Rojelio in the 57th minute of the match. Melquiades Oliveiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Esteban Lertxun managed to get in a good position for a shot. NANO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Lertxun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Baracaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Samuel Benavente came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the C.A. Peñarol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Benavente couldn't finish the play. Demetrio Aicardi kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. C.A. Peñarol's Enzo Baracaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Rojelio in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of NANO FC booed when C.A. Peñarol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cerilo Gipoulou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Rojelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Baracaldo having to interfere. Baltasar Pancho kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, NANO FC's Melquiades Oliveiro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Baracaldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hermengildo Cloyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darien Gutiérrez in the 84th minute. When Benedicto Illan fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NANO FC's protests and gave Benedicto Illan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, NANO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Illan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to NANO FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bernabe Mincho hit a great ball. Samuel Benavente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantino Rojelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Silviano Verdejo fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Peñarol's protests and gave Silviano Verdejo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Silviano Verdejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
