The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albano Quintyn in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Baracaldo saved C.A. Peñarol from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Albano Quintyn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Baracaldo was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, DESTROY's Lisandro Gora got a free kick in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Eneko in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enzo Baracaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, C.A. Peñarol's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Quintyn came free, but Enzo Baracaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Esteban Lawrence got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 27 minutes into the match. Albano Quintyn took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Baracaldo. Enzo Baracaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Peñarol's zone, Albano Quintyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Baracaldo came out of the goal and Albano Quintyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Baracaldo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by DESTROY's Albano Quintyn. But to his dismay, Albano Quintyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Haroldo Eneko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Albano Quintyn, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 38 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Enzo Baracaldo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Albano Quintyn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Enzo Baracaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Peñarol's zone, Haroldo Eneko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Baracaldo came out of the goal and Haroldo Eneko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Baracaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albano Quintyn's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Fernan Liher hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Haroldo Eneko made the kick off in the second half. DESTROY's Albano Quintyn got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enzo Baracaldo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Albano Quintyn sent off a good shot on target. DESTROY's Fernan Liher got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Fernan Liher off the ground. Fernan Liher hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The supporters of C.A. Peñarol booed when DESTROY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eulalio Ilixo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, C.A. Peñarol's goalkeeper Enzo Baracaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Munio. Rogelio Munio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 77th playminute. Rogelio Munio charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Munio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, DESTROY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Munio to maneuver through the defense. Rogelio Munio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Luisito Ibar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Enzo Baracaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Munio got free with Enzo Baracaldo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enzo Baracaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Munio in the 92nd minute. Luisito Ibar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enzo Baracaldo came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisito Ibar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 94th minute. The C.A. Peñarol fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DESTROY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
