When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Aírton Capixaba sped through SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christer Sandwall. Aírton Capixaba scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christer Sandwall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christer Sandwall came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Litoral EC - CIMZ's Aírton Capixaba. But to his dismay, Aírton Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 32 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo José Campidelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Göran Eriksson. 33 minutes into the match, Linus Lidberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo José Campidelis. Litoral EC - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Linus Lidberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 37 minutes into the game, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Sílvio Luiz das Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christer Sandwall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. When Elias Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Litoral EC - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Paulista couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Ulisses Munhoz got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The wind increased when Kristoffer Lundström made the kick off in the second half. Valentin Bredberg charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Bredberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valentin Bredberg kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Svante Sillén got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulo José Campidelis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aírton Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 65th minute, Aírton Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Sandwall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton Capixaba in the 70th minute of the match. SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's Christer Sandwall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save SupremEs Divor - Ej KM from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Edmílson Valadares got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Svante Sillén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SupremEs Divor - Ej KM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svante Sillén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Litoral EC - CIMZ booed when SupremEs Divor - Ej KM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Göran Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christer Sandwall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 82nd minute. Elias Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Sandwall having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Joélson de Lima dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. The Litoral EC - CIMZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
