Tabachana F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Stergios Siontis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Victorino Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Clemente Mino fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Medievales's protests and gave Clemente Mino a yellow card for diving instead. Clemente Mino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 19 played minutes Tabachana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Karpetopoulos. Andres Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Pirmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Tournas in the 22nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tabachana F.C.'s Stergios Siontis tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Lambis Savvakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Pirmin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 35th minute, Stergios Siontis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 played minutes Tabachana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lambis Savvakis. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Medievales's zone, Stergios Siontis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Pirmin came out of the goal and Stergios Siontis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 played minutes Tabachana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Tournas. The Deportivo Medievales players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tabachana F.C. were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Niguel was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Deportivo Medievales booed when Tabachana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avraam Vikatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avraam Lykoudis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Atilano Pirmin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lambis Savvakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Pirmin having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vassilis Tournas got free with Atilano Pirmin in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atilano Pirmin was a little too slow when Lambis Savvakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-2. Dimitris Nasiopoulos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Rameriz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tilemachos Manouselis was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Tasos Kontosoros hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Vassilis Tournas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Atilano Pirmin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the game, Avraam Lykoudis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Vassilis Tournas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Atilano Pirmin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 90th minute Vassilis Tournas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
