Fritz Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezar Ailenei having to interfere. New York Red Bulls's Cezar Ailenei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Valström in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konrad Valström in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cezar Ailenei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute of the match Robin Asserlindh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cezar Ailenei skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of New York Red Bulls booed when Slipmaskinerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Asserlindh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cezar Ailenei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Valström in the 86th minute of the match. Konrad Valström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Cezar Ailenei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The long shot by Robin Asserlindh in the 93rd minute really tested Cezar Ailenei's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
