Rony Gomes struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Hugo Jespersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Nova FC. Malmö White Knights's Hugo Jespersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Malmö White Knights from getting a goal against them. Ademir Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Johan Uggla in the 23rd minute of the match. Ademir Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Johan Uggla's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Rony Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Jespersson having to interfere. Malmö White Knights's Hugo Jespersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Gomes in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Malmö White Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Sellberg to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Jespersson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Serginho Nóbrega. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wanderson Baptista got free with Hugo Jespersson in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's Rony Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Jespersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Marc Skräddare made the kick off in the second half. Hugo Jespersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Gomes in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Marc Skräddare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malmö White Knights's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Nova FC the free kick. 55 minutes into the game, Rony Gomes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hugo Jespersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 62 played minutes Malmö White Knights got a freekick which was hit by Sven Sellberg. Wanderson Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Johan Uggla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ademir Cruz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Skräddare in the 76th minute of play forced Vila Nova FC's goalkeeper Ademir Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Malmö White Knights got a corner. Vila Nova FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karl-Johan Uggla ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Vila Nova FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rony Gomes hit a great ball. Hugo Jespersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Baptista in the 80th minute of the match. Malmö White Knights's Hugo Jespersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Baptista in the 83rd minute of play. When Rony Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Vila Nova FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Gomes couldn't finish the play. Vila Nova FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
