If Fotis Koliakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Fotis Koliakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fotis Koliakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nadir Hallaçoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerasimos Mitsopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tansu Zafir in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Nikos Vissis got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 32nd minute, Oğuzhan Mesut sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Gerasimos Mitsopoulos didn't even have to move. Gerasimos Mitsopoulos made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Oğuzhan Mesut sent off a good shot on target. Nadir Hallaçoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Koliakis in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, H E P T A N's Oğuzhan Mesut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Gerasimos Mitsopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tansu Zafir, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Reha Akağan kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Oğuzhan Mesut scored 3-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerasimos Mitsopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gerasimos Mitsopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oğuzhan Mesut's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Tansu Zafir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerasimos Mitsopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that H E P T A N were the better team. H E P T A N's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
