Predador Brasiliense MZBR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Best Top was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gigel Mateescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Best Top, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Best Top nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigel Mateescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Gigel Mateescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio Araújo in the 18th minute of play. Best Top took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigel Mateescu. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Predador Brasiliense MZBR reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When Cléberson Messias fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Predador Brasiliense MZBR's protests and gave Cléberson Messias a yellow card for diving instead.
