Gigel Mateescu came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Lobo Guará's Jorginho Munhoz. But to his dismay, Jorginho Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jorginho Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gigel Mateescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Cacá de Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigel Mateescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Vlad Harbuz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Baiano having to interfere. Jorginho Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Mateescu having to interfere. After 26 played minutes PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Nedelcea. Cacá de Lara struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gigel Mateescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobo Guará. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Tărbac got free with Roberto Baiano in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ionuț Alucai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Munhoz in the 34th minute of play forced PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's goalkeeper Gigel Mateescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Munhoz came free, but Gigel Mateescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Mateescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá de Lara during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lobo Guará getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cacá de Lara hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Cacá de Lara notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Gigel Mateescu. Gigel Mateescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roberto Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Alucai in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cacá de Lara to make the kick off. A collision led to PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ionuț Alucai hit a great ball. Gigel Mateescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Ionuț Alucai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Baiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gustavo Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobo Guará's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Mateescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lobo Guará's Wiliam Alves was substituted for Rodriguinho Motta. Lobo Guará's Albertinho Leite was substituted for Cacá de Lara. Gigel Mateescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Leite in the 60th minute of the match. Albertinho Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Gigel Mateescu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's zone, Jorginho Munhoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Mateescu came out of the goal and Jorginho Munhoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Gigel Mateescu got control of the ball when Jorginho Munhoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Albertinho Leite dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gigel Mateescu, 0-5. Stelian Sinulescu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When the match was over Lobo Guará could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN throughout the match.
