The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. OSASCO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Mykhaylo Schastlyvyi scored to the left of an out of position Luciano de Carvalho, making the score, 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Luciano de Carvalho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mykhaylo Schastlyvyi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luciano de Carvalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Mykhaylo Schastlyvyi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, João Pedro de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. OSASCO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pedro de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasyl Shevel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 minutes, Hamílton Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OSASCO FC and the FC Ruh Lviv players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hamílton Sanches hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pedro de Sena in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasyl Shevel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the FC Ruh Lviv defense, João Pedro de Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vasyl Shevel. The FC Ruh Lviv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vasyl Shevel should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, OSASCO FC's Albertinho de Castro got a free kick in the 36th minute. The OSASCO FC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when OSASCO FC's João Pedro de Sena looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when João Pedro de Sena made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to OSASCO FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. João Pedro de Sena hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Mykyta Gvozdevych made a precise shot to the right of Luciano de Carvalho. OSASCO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olexiy Golyuk in the 67th minute of play forced OSASCO FC's goalkeeper Luciano de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didi Nóbrega got free with Vasyl Shevel in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. OSASCO FC's Luciano de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mykhaylo Schastlyvyi in the 92nd minute of play. Luciano de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mykhaylo Schastlyvyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ruh Lviv's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
