Lobo Guará's Cacá de Lara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelinho Custódio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Glauco Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorginho Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Custódio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jorginho Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobo Guará's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorginho Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelinho Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Cacá de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacá de Lara took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelinho Custódio. Marcelinho Custódio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marcelinho Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá de Lara in the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cacá de Lara made a kick off. Marcelinho Custódio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacá de Lara went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Lobo Guará's Albertinho Leite was substituted for Cacá de Lara. After 60 minutes, Válbson Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobo Guará and the Predador Brasiliense MZBR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Predador Brasiliense MZBR booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Claudinho Paes came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Predador Brasiliense MZBR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Paes couldn't finish the play. Predador Brasiliense MZBR made a substitution. Zé Paulo Alagoano replaced Cléberson Messias. Claudinho Paes shot a long shot in the 63rd minute and a light blocked Roberto Baiano hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-4. After 69 played minutes Predador Brasiliense MZBR got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Alagoano. A collision led to Predador Brasiliense MZBR getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Tarcisio Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Baiano having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Albertinho Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobo Guará fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Marcelinho Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertinho Leite in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelinho Custódio saved Predador Brasiliense MZBR from getting behind. With a little luck, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Marcelinho Custódio got control of the ball when Albertinho Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line.
