In the 24thth minute of the game Antonio Garcia De Paredes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parfrente FC's Haroldo Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Parfrente FC's Haroldo Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Parfrente FC from getting a goal against them. Ivan Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Alcântara in the 44th minute of the match. Murilo Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ivan Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The referee ignored Parfrente FC's protests and gave Claudinei Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Flamengo de San Blás booed when Parfrente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Garcia De Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Chaves having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murilo Alcântara got free with Ivan Mota in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Ivan Mota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murilo Alcântara.
