But to his dismay, Thrasivoulos Katsiaros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião de Amaral got free with Stefanos Topoudis in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Akira アキラ's Sebastião de Amaral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stefanos Topoudis. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. 28 minutes into the game, Sebastião de Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Akira アキラ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PicksBattle.com the free kick. A collision led to Akira アキラ getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Sebastião de Amaral hit a great ball. Júlio Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thrasivoulos Katsiaros in the 30th minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 32nd minute, but Stefanos Topoudis got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving PicksBattle.com hanging dry this time. Mário Mascherano kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Stefanos Topoudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião de Amaral in the 39th minute of play. Akira アキラ's Júlio Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thrasivoulos Katsiaros in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Stavros Skountis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Sebastião de Amaral was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of PicksBattle.com booed when Akira アキラ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefanos Topoudis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Carioca in the 63rd minute of the match. When Akira アキラ's Fernandão Soeiro in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PicksBattle.com's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Akira アキラ's Mário Mascherano got a free kick in the 78th minute. PicksBattle.com's Antonis Karteris shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Júlio Lucas but with some difficulty. PicksBattle.com's Stefanos Topoudis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Soeiro in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Stavros Skountis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefanos Topoudis came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Akira アキラ's Fernandão Soeiro. But to his dismay, Fernandão Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When João Queiroz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. In the 88th match minute, Akira アキラ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Cléberson Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Topoudis having to interfere. Akira アキラ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
