If Danny Gilespie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Hever charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Hever the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ripa FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nicanor Hever hit a great ball. Danny Gilespie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Martxelin having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ripa FC! A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Darius Bontine hit a great ball. Camilo Urtsua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fergus Fairbairn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Celio took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fergus Fairbairn. Fergus Fairbairn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Rangers FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ripa FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Danny Gilespie made the kick off in the second half. Fergus Fairbairn was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Camilo Urtsua capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camilo Urtsua really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Tim Charles lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Rangers FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ripa FC:s goal. Fergus Fairbairn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Celio in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fergus Fairbairn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ripa FC's Samuel Otoniel got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ronan McLaws's late challenge caught a Ripa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronan McLaws helped the player get up and apologised. Domingos Mannie, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ripa FC played a much better game than Rangers FC and deserved their victory. The Rangers FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
