Arí Motta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí Motta to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes of play, AF CERRADO's Didi Gaúcho made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Telmo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jose Maidana scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Maidana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Fidencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Samuel Gorbea fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salmuera CP's protests and gave Samuel Gorbea a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Gorbea hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Salmuera CP getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Guaberto Daunte hit a great ball. Arí Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Erasmo Telmo made a huge save. Samuel Gorbea was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 41 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by David Loureiro. After 44 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Artur Sergipano. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Paskal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Remigio Roldan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salmuera CP's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Roldan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severino Alcântara was out of position in the 101 minute of play, and Eusebio Paskal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eusebio Paskal really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
