Salmuera CP's Erasmo Telmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Salmuera CP from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Maidana in the 24th minute of play forced A T A B E Y - Fener45's goalkeeper Vehdi Rıfkı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Eusebio Paskal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A T A B E Y - Fener45's Vehdi Rıfkı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Jose Maidana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salmuera CP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A T A B E Y - Fener45 the free kick. The supporters of A T A B E Y - Fener45 booed when Salmuera CP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasmo Telmo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alemdar Cangun. After 31 minutes of play, Salmuera CP's Enrique Marques made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vehdi Rıfkı was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gencalp Özdurdu let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 34th minute shot 2-3 at rihgt post. Erasmo Telmo was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Ahmet Orhan Seha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ahmet Orhan Seha really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ahmet Orhan Seha made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Gencalp Özdurdu made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Telmo. Salmuera CP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. In the 71st minute Göktuğ Uzgoren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Ahmet Orhan Seha managed to get in a good position for a shot. A T A B E Y - Fener45's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Orhan Seha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Telmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 5-5 when Anibal Fidencio sped through A T A B E Y - Fener45's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vehdi Rıfkı. Erasmo Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktuğ Uzgoren in the 78th minute of play. Vehdi Rıfkı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Erasmo Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencalp Özdurdu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, A T A B E Y - Fener45 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alemdar Cangun to maneuver through the defense. Salmuera CP's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
