An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Säv in the 9th minute of play forced MELATES F.C.'s goalkeeper Themos Maridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, MELATES F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Papakostopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Themos Maridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Kent Blomqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wetterqvist Boys BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Themos Maridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Gullesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Wetterqvist Boys BK's goal looked a bit too open when Gerasimos Kipreos came free, but Andreas Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christos Papakostopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Andreas Bergqvist made a huge save. Kent Blomqvist took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Themos Maridis. Themos Maridis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Themos Maridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Blomqvist in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Wetterqvist Boys BK's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Stafilas came free, but Andreas Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Stafilas in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Adrian Säv made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Kent Blomqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Themos Maridis. Kent Blomqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After 60 played minutes MELATES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Antonis Froussos. Themos Maridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Säv, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Themos Maridis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kent Blomqvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. Adrian Säv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themos Maridis having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Wetterqvist Boys BK's Kent Blomqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Andreas Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Papakostopoulos in the 74th minute of play. Andreas Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akis Stafilas, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th match minute, MELATES F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kleanthis Sapounelis to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th play minute Jon Sjöberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Themos Maridis. 0-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Hedlund during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, MELATES F.C.'s Themos Maridis got control of the ball when Kent Blomqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Wetterqvist Boys BK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Sture Skarkman hit a great ball. Andreas Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Stafilas in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Wetterqvist Boys BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MELATES F.C. throughout the match.
