When Cesar Shantala came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Toro Rosso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Shantala couldn't finish the play. Toro Rosso FC's Damian Venceslao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txerran Gotor in the 9th minute of play. Araoz Montaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Damian Venceslao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Cosme Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Txerran Gotor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Venceslao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Venceslao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Eguilaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Erasto in the 33rd minute of play forced Res Non Verba's goalkeeper Argi Guiles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Txerran Gotor sped through Toro Rosso FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Venceslao. In the 40th match minute, Res Non Verba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Trevino to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Janpier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Argi Guiles. Res Non Verba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Toro Rosso FC's Cesar Shantala got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Txerran Gotor in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Venceslao saved Toro Rosso FC from getting behind. Edwardo Salvatierra's late challenge caught a Toro Rosso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edwardo Salvatierra helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Erasto was the one to do the kick off. Damian Venceslao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txerran Gotor in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Luisito Eguilaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Venceslao was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Damian Venceslao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 78 minutes into the match, Toro Rosso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Txerran Gotor came free, but Damian Venceslao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Toro Rosso FC's goalkeeper Damian Venceslao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diegotxe Millan. Toro Rosso FC's Damian Venceslao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Toro Rosso FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Res Non Verba's zone, Cirilo Erasto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Argi Guiles came out of the goal and Cirilo Erasto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toro Rosso FC's Damian Venceslao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Toro Rosso FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Toro Rosso FC booed when Res Non Verba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Eguilaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Toro Rosso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Txerran Gotor came free, but Damian Venceslao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match, Txerran Gotor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damian Venceslao saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Res Non Verba players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
