In the 3rd minute David-Pascal Metzler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Fraco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Behrens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Mikolas in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Arrecifes's Victoriano Matro got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Arrecifes got a corner. StopBuyingToken's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marciano Hartz ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 22nd match minute, StopBuyingToken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Kappel to maneuver through the defense. Robert Behrens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Hartz in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, StopBuyingToken's Marc Pfeifenberger got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Arrecifes's Modesto Mikolas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye StopBuyingToken's goalie prevented a goal. David-Pascal Metzler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Hever hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Adan Piorno kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Marcos Fraco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rehmer in the 48th minute of play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David-Pascal Metzler to make the kick off. Alejandro Fonda hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. David-Pascal Metzler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 minutes, David-Pascal Metzler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the StopBuyingToken and the Arrecifes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, David-Pascal Metzler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, one of StopBuyingToken:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lucio Hever did an outstanding performance 65 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-0 to the right of an irritated Robert Behrens in the goal. Arrecifes's Abel Egoitz was substituted for Alejandro Fonda. Arrecifes made a substitution. Froilan Cutberto replaced Modesto Mikolas. Adan Piorno charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Piorno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of StopBuyingToken booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Martin Rehmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Lucio Hever hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rouven Assmann in the 75th minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Marcos Fraco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Behrens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in StopBuyingToken's zone, Abel Egoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Behrens came out of the goal and Abel Egoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Abel Egoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Arrecifes's Froilan Cutberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Behrens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Arrecifes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of StopBuyingToken for a fine match.
