After 16 played minutes Vormsi Vald got a freekick which was hit by Ergo Ruul. 方渊海 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaur Nestra having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veiko Naba during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Qingdao Huanghai Fc booed when Vormsi Vald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veiko Naba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Ain Raska made a precise shot to the right of 傅迪森. Qingdao Huanghai Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Qingdao Huanghai Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vormsi Vald the free kick. Vormsi Vald made a substitution. Kunnar Voogjärv replaced Siim Ambros. After 79 played minutes Qingdao Huanghai Fc got a freekick which was hit by 董勇邦. 谢天义 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Qingdao Huanghai Fc's 龙竞政 got a free kick in the 91st minute. Hardi Laanemets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but 傅迪森 made a huge save. Qingdao Huanghai Fc's 康烽宽 suffered a sprained foot after 97 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ergo Ruul fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vormsi Vald's protests and gave Ergo Ruul a yellow card for diving instead. Qingdao Huanghai Fc's 邱迪笑 was substituted for 康烽宽. Ergo Ruul hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
