The supporters of Verwachting booed when Altar SK 1283 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alaaddin Erşahin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Verwachting were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Altar SK 1283's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilfred Vonk took the corner. Verwachting's Henny Jans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Verwachting from getting a goal against them. Dirk Rensenbrink's late challenge caught a Altar SK 1283's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Verwachting's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 89 played minutes Altar SK 1283 got a freekick which was hit by Alaaddin Erşahin. Henny Jans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Burak Kalhan in the 91st minute of the match. Henny Jans came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Altar SK 1283's Timur Kerem. But to his dismay, Timur Kerem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Altar SK 1283's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
