After 12 played minutes Olympique Salonais got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Vende. The Beto Martini MZ 20 years fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Cesinha Leal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodriguinho Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Lucas in the 18th minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Salonais's goalkeeper Thibaut Fortin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thibaut Fortin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Eger in the 26th minute of play. Basílio Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaut Fortin having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Cesinha Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Salonais's Thibaut Fortin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thibaut Fortin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olympique Salonais's Thibaut Fortin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Leal in the 40th minute of play. Bryan Brébant charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryan Brébant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christopher Lucas made a kick off. Rodriguinho Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarod Hild in the 51st minute of play. Olympique Salonais's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Cesinha Leal scored to the left of an out of position Thibaut Fortin, making the score, 0-2. Rodriguinho Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Lucas in the 60th minute of the match. Olympique Salonais were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Beto Martini MZ 20 years's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mike Debruyne took the corner. Rodriguinho Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Lucas in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Olympique Salonais getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Rudy Kowalczyk hit a great ball. Jarod Hild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Ramalho having to interfere. Thibaut Fortin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Cesinha Leal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thibaut Fortin. Cesinha Leal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The Beto Martini MZ 20 years players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
