After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Salonais's zone, Israel Montae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thibaut Fortin came out of the goal and Israel Montae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Fidencio. Thibaut Fortin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Montae in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Lucas came free, but Severiano Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Montae got free with Thibaut Fortin in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thibaut Fortin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Gabirel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Pio got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-0 in the right cross in the 29th match minute before Thibaut Fortin had time to react. After 32 played minutes Olympique Salonais got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Marie Guerre. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Pio in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thibaut Fortin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thibaut Fortin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Pio in the 41st minute. If Bryan Brébant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when Olympique Salonais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julien Jeannot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thibaut Fortin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1.
