An unexpectedly hard shot by Geofredo Benito in the 8th minute of play forced Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goalkeeper Wilson Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Beto Martini MZ 20 years booed when Salelles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Font didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedro Paulo Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davi Moreno hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Virgilio Buendia struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Wilson Terra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salelles. Alessandro Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute of the match Beto Martini MZ 20 years got a corner. Salelles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesinha Leal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Cesinha Leal to fire away a dangerous shot which Felipo Guerrero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wilson Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Buendia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calvet Climent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Terra having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Geofredo Benito succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Alessandro Valadares took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipo Guerrero. Felipo Guerrero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 67 minutes, Léo do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beto Martini MZ 20 years and the Salelles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Léo do Valle hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Wilson Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geofredo Benito in the 70th minute of play. Cesinha Leal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipo Guerrero having to make a save. 73 minutes into the game, Virgilio Buendia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Wilson Terra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felipo Guerrero came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Alessandro Valadares. But to his dismay, Alessandro Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. If Florentino Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilson Terra came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Salelles's Geofredo Benito. But to his dismay, Geofredo Benito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. After having played for 95 minutes, Geofredo Benito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salelles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geofredo Benito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Salelles were the better team. Salelles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
