But to his dismay, Pocho Citko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute, Ulryk Sawicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rega Merida CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babhruvahana Maagaardshus in the 22nd minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Norberto Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Vaz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, one of Terceirense F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Rega Merida CF a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roland Jakubiak, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Terceirense F.C.'s Norberto Falcão. 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Sawicki came free, but Norberto Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Egídio Bacelar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terceirense F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rega Merida CF the free kick. After 43 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Bacelar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulryk Sawicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Babhruvahana Maagaardshus notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Terceirense F.C.'s Norberto Falcão. Norberto Falcão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Norberto Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Kondysar in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Rega Merida CF's Babhruvahana Maagaardshus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norberto Falcão. Norberto Falcão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 69th minute, Babhruvahana Maagaardshus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isac Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Kingsley Coman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Sawicki came free, but Norberto Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borys Zawada hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Rega Merida CF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Terceirense F.C..
