Gustaf Rudberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimmie Tinglöv went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute Otto Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 36 in the game by Algot Månsson from a close distance when the talented Dan Palmquist managed to make a qualified save. Djurgården IF's players were relieved. Dan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Täman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Palmquist was a little too slow when Eskil Danielsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 3-2.

The wind increased when Algot Månsson made the kick off in the second half. If Gottfrid Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4-2 became the score in the 59th minute when Ingvar Täman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dan Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Brask in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Josefsson came free, but Dan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Hjalmar Stolpe put in a rough tackle. In the 67th minute, Ingvar Täman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Djurgården IF's Dan Palmquist didn't even have to move. Birger Josefsson took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Palmquist. Dan Palmquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Dan Palmquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
