After a defensive mix-up in SC Night Cats's zone, Hernani Akwa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oskar Götze came out of the goal and Hernani Akwa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oskar Götze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Caneças in the 15th minute of the match. If Hernani Akwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27th play minutes Tiago Caneças shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Oskar Götze and just under the crossbar into goal. Carrapichel Angolano's Pedro Vasques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Meier in the 31st minute of play. Oskar Götze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Caneças in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, SC Night Cats's Rutger Butenschön dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Carrapichel Angolano's Pedro Vasques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutger Butenschön in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Tiago Caneças made the kick off in the second half. Tiago Caneças in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oskar Götze, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Carrapichel Angolano getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tiago Caneças hit a great ball. With his leg Oskar Götze managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Carrapichel Angolano's Tiago Caneças fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to SC Night Cats getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ralf Meier hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Ralf Meier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Rutger Butenschön shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Vasques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Butenschön in the 70th minute of play forced Carrapichel Angolano's goalkeeper Pedro Vasques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Götze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Caneças in the 74th minute of play. Oskar Götze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Caneças, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Caneças in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oskar Götze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiago Caneças could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Oskar Götze made a huge save. A hard shot 79 in the game by Tiago Caneças from a close distance when the talented Oskar Götze managed to make a qualified save. SC Night Cats's players were relieved. Tiago Caneças who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Oskar Götze when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 89th minute Tiago Caneças shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Götze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Caneças sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, SC Night Cats's goalkeeper Oskar Götze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Caneças. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
