In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Sakis Karvouniaris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Mattin notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Glyka Nera FC's Sakis Karvouniaris. Sakis Karvouniaris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ceferino Arano was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Glyka Nera FC's Sakis Karvouniaris got control of the ball when Ezequiel Ixona tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 played minutes Glyka Nera FC got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Fragidis. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Ceferino Arano took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Sakis Karvouniaris to make any attempt to save it. Generoso Cordara hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Sakis Karvouniaris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Arano in the 76th minute. After 77 played minutes Glyka Nera FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenios Ioannidis. Glyka Nera FC's Sakis Karvouniaris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Glyka Nera FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Glyka Nera FC's zone, Fulgencio Mattin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakis Karvouniaris came out of the goal and Fulgencio Mattin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Vassilis Fragidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
