Abel Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palle Paalgard, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Chaime. Abel Neron came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by PP Plessydask's Palle Paalgard. But to his dismay, Palle Paalgard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Douglas Hedbom made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Leandro Cordarin sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the game, Leandro Cordarin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Douglas Hedbom. Leandro Cordarin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 21st minute, Leandro Cordarin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Douglas Hedbom. The goal made the score 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Lehoi got free with Douglas Hedbom in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Leandro Cordarin in the 32nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Douglas Hedbom kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 40th minute, Placido Cordarell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Leandro Cordarin took a quick shot and it went in 6-1 without a chance for Douglas Hedbom to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Cordarin was the one to do the kick off. Douglas Hedbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Cordarin went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Leandro Cordarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Hedbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. PP Plessydask's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 77 minutes, Linus Ekgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PP Plessydask and the Deportivo Balvanera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Linus Ekgren hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Rene Restu notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of PP Plessydask's Douglas Hedbom. Douglas Hedbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Aritza in the 88th minute of play forced PP Plessydask's goalkeeper Douglas Hedbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Hedbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Aritza in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when PP Plessydask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Ekgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Inautzi in the 92nd minute of play forced PP Plessydask's goalkeeper Douglas Hedbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gösta Zander during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gösta Zander hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute Jose Aritza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Hedbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Balvanera fully deserved thier win.
