Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eiko Kurm in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gilberto Inautzi hit a great ball. Gunnar Taigur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Cordarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Chaime. Kaspar Nõukas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Neron. Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Madis Rillo took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Neron. Abel Neron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FC Muuga United's Gunnar Taigur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Cordarin in the 35th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Cordarin to make the kick off.
