Teofilo Virila scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edwardo Hardiman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Mariano Orland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwardo Hardiman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Orland in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwardo Hardiman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Burtt Kernick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Moises Cresencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burtt Kernick in the 27th minute of play. If Cesar Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute of the match Bruno Arnalt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edwardo Hardiman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edwardo Hardiman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Orland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Orland made a kick off. Edwardo Hardiman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Orland's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Burtt Kernick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Moises Cresencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Abbotsford FC's goalkeeper Edwardo Hardiman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Orland. The supporters of Abbotsford FC booed when Tigres Ñacuñán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Medero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abbott Hardiman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Burtt Kernick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Moises Cresencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Orland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Edwardo Hardiman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 70 played minutes Abbotsford FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Dollimore. Teofilo Virila charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilo Virila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Tigres Ñacuñán FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Virila. Moises Cresencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burtt Kernick in the 77th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Fausto Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match, Mariano Orland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edwardo Hardiman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mariano Orlands short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Edwardo Hardiman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Orland in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwardo Hardiman saved Abbotsford FC from getting behind. Murphy Lascelles kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Abbotsford FC's goalkeeper Edwardo Hardiman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Orland. Burtt Kernick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Tigres Ñacuñán FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
