Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Van Kamp started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Van Kamp got free with Gert Blomqvist in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bahrtys Talanger's Gert Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward Reiniers in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dag Fridlund in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Weggers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gert Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ward Reiniers in the 16th minute of the match. Royal Antwerp FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frederick Vereect in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Ward Reiniers took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gert Blomqvist to make any attempt to save it. 30 minutes into the match, Bahrtys Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Ward Reiniers came free, but Gert Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Alexandre Van Kamp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gert Blomqvist. Alexandre Van Kamp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Bahrtys Talanger's goalkeeper Gert Blomqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Van Kamp. In the 38th minute, Alexandre Van Kamp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gert Blomqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 42 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Fridlund came free, but William Weggers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Egil Lundström fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahrtys Talanger's protests and gave Egil Lundström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bahrtys Talanger getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Egil Lundström hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dag Fridlund in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Weggers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Robbrecht De Metser left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal Antwerp FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Robbrecht De Metser scored 6-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gert Blomqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandre Van Kamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, Marcus Neirynck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal Antwerp FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 79th minute, Dag Fridlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederick Vereect kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Robbrecht De Metser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredric Andreasson's late challenge caught a Royal Antwerp FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredric Andreasson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Fredric Andreasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match Frederick Vereect sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gert Blomqvist skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st minute Marcus Neirynck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dag Fridlund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of William Weggers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Royal Antwerp FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bahrtys Talanger had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
