Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vykan Skott made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Rasmus Lagerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djurgården Sthlm were furious when Torsten Bammerman was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Torsten Bammerman kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Jim Östensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When SJÖARED's Vykan Skott in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Djurgården Sthlm's goalie prevented a goal. If Sven-Åke Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krister Hedberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Wennerquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Egon Pihlwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes SJÖARED got a freekick which was hit by Jim Östensson. Edvin Asplund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vykan Skott in the 25th minute of play. Ulf Tunberg kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Krister Hedberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Djurgården Sthlm's supporters rose to their feet, but Krister Hedberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Pihlwall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edvin Asplund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Östensson in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Djurgården Sthlm booed when SJÖARED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Back didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Åke Forsberg, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Åke Forsberg to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SJÖARED's zone, Max Wennerquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Pihlwall came out of the goal and Max Wennerquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, Vykan Skott cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Edvin Asplund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SJÖARED made a substitution. Karl-Åke Sjögren replaced Sven-Åke Ekberg. Krister Hedberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Pihlwall having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, SJÖARED's Karl-Åke Sjögren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvin Asplund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Edvin Asplund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Edvin Asplund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Erik Almstedt in the 74th minute of play. Jens-Erik Almstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Erik Almstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SJÖARED getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jens-Erik Almstedt hit a great ball. If Max Wennerquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Nils-Åke Hellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Åke Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Pihlwall having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, SJÖARED's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sven-Åke Forsberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 87 minutes into the game, Axel Bock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Djurgården Sthlm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SJÖARED the free kick.
