A collision led to Los Hornos getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cecilio Silvanito hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Los Hornos's Aureliano Oroitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vytenis Grabauskas. Vytenis Grabauskas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Cecilio Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vytenis Grabauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the Los Hornos defense, Laimonas Kundrotas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Laurendi. The Los Hornos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Laurendi should have stopped the shot. Vytenis Grabauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Silvanito in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vilius Bacys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Laurendi was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Wilfredo Innocenzio charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Remigio Fidensio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Aureliano Oroitz made a precise shot to the right of Vytenis Grabauskas. FC Alytus United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Epifanio Laurendi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilius Bacys went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. When the referee blew the final whistle, Los Hornos could leave the field as winners, despite FC Alytus United having more of the ball for most of the match.
