Ferruccio Sabatini made in the 5th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Hornos's Remigio Fidensio. In the 5th minute, Federico Palombi had to leave the field with a concussion. When Leandro Guib fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Hornos's protests and gave Leandro Guib a yellow card for diving instead. Glasgow Rangers FC's Amerigo Di Croce was substituted for Federico Palombi. A collision led to Los Hornos getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Leandro Guib hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Felice Schiacciacasse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glasgow Rangers FC's Felice Schiacciacasse got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Glasgow Rangers FC's Felice Schiacciacasse in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Hornos's goalie prevented a goal. Leopoldo Petri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felice Schiacciacasse's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Bernardo Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Los Hornos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Estevez couldn't finish the play. If Bernardo Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute Bernardo Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Belfiore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Estevez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Fulvio Belfiore made a huge save. When Anselmo Vago fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glasgow Rangers FC's protests and gave Anselmo Vago a yellow card for diving instead. With his leg Fulvio Belfiore managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Los Hornos's Bernardo Estevez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 31 played minutes Los Hornos got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Iyan. After recieving a nice pass, Glasgow Rangers FC's Ciro Trombetta tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Ferruccio Sabatini threw the ball into play from the sideline. Los Hornos's Remigio Fidensio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Leopoldo Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Schiacciacasse in the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Eustaquio Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hornos's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Omero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulvio Belfiore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Glasgow Rangers FC's zone, Eustaquio Omero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulvio Belfiore came out of the goal and Eustaquio Omero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felice Schiacciacasse was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Glasgow Rangers FC booed when Los Hornos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Fidensio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Estevez kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Los Hornos getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Remigio Fidensio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Estevez in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulvio Belfiore saved Glasgow Rangers FC from getting behind. Anselmo Vago hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Los Hornos's Marciano Tanio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Glasgow Rangers FC. In the 72nd minute, Eustaquio Omero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fulvio Belfiore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fulvio Belfiore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Estevez in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Los Hornos booed when Glasgow Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Vitucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Bernardo Estevez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fulvio Belfiore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eustaquio Omero struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Fulvio Belfiore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Hornos. Fulvio Belfiore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Guib in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Bernardo Estevez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fulvio Belfiore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Bernardo Estevez made a precise shot to the right of Fulvio Belfiore. Glasgow Rangers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
