Ponte do Carro's Alípio Regalado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivér Dömötör in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Alípio Regalado made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Bálint Bakos sent off a good shot on target. Moisés Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 3-0 became the score in the 63rd minute when Moisés Nogueira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 71 minutes, Renato Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponte do Carro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Máté Kántor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olivér Dömötör fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alípio Regalado having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Caetano during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Duarte Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Máté Kántor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Lucena, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Budapest players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ponte do Carro.
