Teodosio Ixaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Malafaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Alexandre Lucena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ponte do Carro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute, Moisés Nogueira made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Ixaka. Sporting Club Victoria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 14 played minutes Sporting Club Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Galindo. Alexandre Lucena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Ixaka having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Albano Aurken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponte do Carro's Alípio Regalado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albano Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alípio Regalado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ponte do Carro defense, Albano Aurken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alípio Regalado. The Ponte do Carro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alípio Regalado should have stopped the shot. After 29 minutes of play, Ponte do Carro's Alexandre Lucena made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Ixaka was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alípio Regalado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Cresconio in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Gregório Modesto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodosio Ixaka skillfully saved the ball. Alípio Regalado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Aurken, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Alexandre Lucena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodosio Ixaka. The tension between the Sporting Club Victoria and the Ponte do Carro players grew even worse after the yellow card.
