Christian Abaunza was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Perfecto in the 91st minute of play forced Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goalkeeper Fermin Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benicio Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
