Eustacio Kemen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 9 played minutes Rua da Pinga got a freekick which was hit by Homero Cerqueira. After recieving a nice pass, Atletico Saladillo FC's Jeronimo Loiola tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Adérito Vilaça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Humberto Ornelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Kemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Argider in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Rua da Pinga's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Alonso came free, but Henrique Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Benedicto Argider reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Henrique Linhares. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 27th minute, André Castanheira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rua da Pinga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Atletico Saladillo FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Teodoro Quilino hit a great ball. Eustacio Kemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higino Castro in the 33rd minute of play. Henrique Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Alonso in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Humberto Ornelas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rua da Pinga's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Ornelas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Kemen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the game, Benedicto Argider cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Henrique Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedicto Argider made a kick off. Henrique Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Alonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rua da Pinga's Henrique Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Alonso in the 57th minute of play. João Balsemão's late challenge caught a Atletico Saladillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Balsemão helped the player get up and apologised. Henrique Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Alonso in the 63rd minute of play. Benedicto Argider kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Rua da Pinga's Henrique Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Argider in the 72nd minute of play. Henrique Linhares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Argider went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the game, Atletico Saladillo FC's Benedicto Argider nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrique Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Benedicto Argider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Saladillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. In the 93rd minute Benedicto Argider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cayetano Berart fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Saladillo FC's protests and gave Cayetano Berart a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rua da Pinga booed when Atletico Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Berart didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes Atletico Saladillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Quilino. Higino Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higino Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Higino Castro hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atletico Saladillo FC fully deserved thier win.
