Rua da Pinga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corralito AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rua da Pinga's Homero Cerqueira got a free kick in the 11th minute. A collision led to Rua da Pinga getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Raul Hustaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Balsemão during the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Rua da Pinga's Homero Cerqueira got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rua da Pinga's zone, Artemio Romano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Linhares came out of the goal and Artemio Romano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Vilaça was the one to do the kick off. Maximo Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, João Balsemão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The coaching staff of Corralito AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maximino Terciero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Corralito AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! After having played for 72 minutes, Leopoldo Nuxila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Henrique Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Nuxila in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, André Castanheira notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Corralito AFC's Raul Hustaz.
