Antonio Fiz kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. A collision led to BEST FABIO F.C. getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Douglas Velloso hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Gau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hortêncio Custódio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme Bertassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BEST FABIO F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juniors FC the free kick. A collision led to BEST FABIO F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Bertassi hit a great ball. Rodrigo Gau was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Juniors FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Anibal Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Cerezo came free, but Octavio Fidele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Hortêncio Custódio got control of the ball when Rodrigo Gau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hortêncio Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Berse, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Arnaldo Cerezo's late challenge caught a Juniors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, BEST FABIO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes Juniors FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Ixaka. Octavio Fidele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Bertassi in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lucas Berse made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Gau in the 51st minute of play forced BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Hortêncio Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juniors FC's Gervasio Macario suffered a concussion after 55 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavinho Netto during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Rodrigo Gau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lucas Ixaka hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Evandro Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Octavio Fidele came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BEST FABIO F.C. reached it. After 69 minutes of play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Flavinho Netto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavio Fidele was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hortêncio Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Kradi in the 74th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Juniors FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Berse. A hard shot by Evandro Cunha from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Octavio Fidele's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Juniors FC booed when BEST FABIO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Rodrigo Gau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hortêncio Custódio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 minutes BEST FABIO F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Berse who took care of the corner kick. In the 89thth minute of the game Rodrigo Gau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEST FABIO F.C.'s Hortêncio Custódio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Octavio Fidele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Guilherme Bertassi in the 94th minute. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Douglas Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
