FC XY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TALLERES DE CBA the free kick. After having played for 20 minutes, Emiliano Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TALLERES DE CBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Weather was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st match minute, FC XY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Gálik to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Tavio was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Peter Obšut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of FC XY:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of TALLERES DE CBA:s goal. Arturo Isusko succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 54th playminute. 58 minutes into the game, Matej Heriban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC XY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TALLERES DE CBA the free kick. Peter Adamek made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Claudio Sanchez sent off a good shot on target. Patrik Gálik got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 72nd match minute, FC XY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Gálik to maneuver through the defense. TALLERES DE CBA's Emiliano Weather got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, TALLERES DE CBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Isusko to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Jozef Karas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Tavio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hugo Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Ferenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Roman Ferenc might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Tavio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Ferenc ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the TALLERES DE CBA defense, Roman Ferenc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Tavio. The TALLERES DE CBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Tavio should have stopped the shot. Jozef Michálek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC XY fans cheered their team off the field, for while TALLERES DE CBA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
