After some careless play in the Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT defense, Kléber Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Lidon. The Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Lidon should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd match minute, Classe A Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes of play, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Tomás Marini made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doriva Simão was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Saul Maureo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Saul Maureo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Saul Maureo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 2-4 became the score in the 46th minute when Abelardo Sá elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kléber Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 92ndth minute of the game Tomás Marini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Classe A Futebol Clube's Doriva Simão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Classe A Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
