Børge Ryal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Abreu in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricard Armann to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Nicolas Mendes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Børge Ryal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Verner Taxholm got free with Sebastião Garcia in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastião Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Bøndorff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Sigberg's late challenge caught a Elite™- FC Galácticos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Sigberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Pablo Sigberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Abreu in the 43rd minute of play forced Hønning's goalkeeper Børge Ryal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Bøndorff who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Sebastião Garcia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Cristóvão Maciel made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Mendes. In the 55th minute, Harry Bøndorff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Robin Reed was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hønning's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elite™- FC Galácticos the free kick. In the 64th match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Reed to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hønning's Verner Taxholm got a free kick in the 71st minute. Børge Ryal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Maciel in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Hønning's goalkeeper Børge Ryal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Abreu. After some careless play in the Hønning defense, João Pedro Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Børge Ryal. The Hønning fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Børge Ryal should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Cristóvão Maciel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Hønning's Børge Ryal got control of the ball when Jonas Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Jonas Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Børge Ryal. Hønning's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Børge Ryal made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Jonas Abreu sent off a good shot on target. Elite™- FC Galácticos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
