Emílio Camarinha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Blixt in the 22nd minute of play. Sten Ekelund lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After having played for 25 minutes, Miguel Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Set Fire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Folke Bolin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A2 IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Bolin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. August Blixt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, A2 IF's Leo Majman got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half A2 IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hampus Boberg took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio Camarinha. Emílio Camarinha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when August Blixt got free with Emílio Camarinha in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute, Miguel Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland Bagge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Set Fire's Rodrigo Novais got a free kick in the 96th minute.
