The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cecilio Refugio came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Tallboda Gunners's Ernst Biörkman. But to his dismay, Ernst Biörkman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo EAS's zone, Jens-Åke Svanér stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Refugio came out of the goal and Jens-Åke Svanér tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Biörkman in the 17th minute of play forced Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Cecilio Refugio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Tord Walroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Laurin kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Cecilio Refugio came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tallboda Gunners's Ernst Biörkman. But to his dismay, Ernst Biörkman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Erik Magnusson's late challenge caught a Cachiyuyo EAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Magnusson helped the player get up and apologised. Erik Magnusson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Cachiyuyo EAS's Natalio Laurin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Nyström. Tomas Nyström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Cachiyuyo EAS's attentive Alberto Calvino managed to snatch the ball when Ragnar Tidén made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. In the 30thth minute of the game Natalio Laurin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tallboda Gunners's Tomas Nyström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Tallboda Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Hult didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cecilio Refugio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tallboda Gunners booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cecilio Refugio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Biörkman made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Tallboda Gunners's Ernst Biörkman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Cecilio Refugio was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Ernst Biörkman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernst Biörkman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Romulo Quirce charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Quirce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cachiyuyo EAS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Romulo Quirce hit a great ball. Ernst Biörkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, Tallboda Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Walroth to maneuver through the defense. Natalio Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tomas Nyström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Quirce hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo EAS's zone, Jens-Åke Svanér stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Refugio came out of the goal and Jens-Åke Svanér tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cecilio Refugio made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Svante Josefsson sent off a good shot on target. Cecilio Refugio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Biörkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Laurin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Natalio Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachiyuyo EAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Laurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute Ernst Biörkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Tallboda Gunners could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cachiyuyo EAS throughout the match.
