The A4p FC Gad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigi Dăscălescu should have stopped the shot. After having played for 27 minutes, Ilie Crainic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A4p FC Gad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Crainic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gigi Dăscălescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Penaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Chițes in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Bianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Pointe Courte walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
